Smashing AI Conference

I know there's a lot of AI fatigue out there.

Most of that though is more about the noise surrounding both sides of the hype spectrum. What's covered way less is context for where it fits best in a development workflow and what sorts of practical uses it might have to benefit — not destroy — our work.

That's why I'm stoked to check out Smashing's AI conference on December 1. The good folks over there check the hype luggage at the door and give these sorts of landscape-changing things careful and thoughtful consideration.

All their events, not to mention their articles, are that way and always have been. And what makes those events the best is bringing in the best-of-the-best people to share what they've learned about it.

In this case we're talking about a live online event specifically about AI in design systems from some of my personal favorite people, like Brad Frost, Christine Vallaure, Vitaly Friedman, and TJ Pitre. We're talking about people who know their craft and the experience to show (not just tell) how it translates to what we do for work, whether you're a designer, front-ender, or even a stakeholder in the design process.
