DDoSecrets publishes Icepick dataset of 41,000 DHS staff records leaked by hacktivists

Details concerning the names, offices, contact information, and assignments of over 41,000 U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) personnel have surfaced following a data leak.

A hacktivist collective identifying as the Department of Peace is responsible for exposing this substantial trove of information.

This group provided the data to the transparency organization Distributed Denial of Secrets (DDoSecrets) and to Swiss hacker and journalist maia arson crimew.

The dataset, which the transparency collective named Icepick, was released publicly on October 28.

The hacktivists asserted that the records originated from an Okta single sign-on system.

The initial appearance of the post, "Hacktivists leak 41,000 DHS staff records, revealing undercover ICE agents," occurred on Help Net Security.
